Valmiera Technical College invites applications for a Methodological Center Director (occupational classifier code 2351 01) on a permanent basis

Stable salary from 1916.00 EUR per month, before tax deductions

Your responsibilities will include:
Planning, managing, and organizing the work of Valmiera Technical College's Methodological Center
Directing and organizing the methodological work and cooperation of education methodologists, laboratory assistants, methodological field specialists, professional education program coordinators, lifelong learning module coordinators, and professional education teachers in commissions and working groups
Ensuring the implementation, licensing, and accreditation of the College's methodological work in professional secondary and vocational education programs that meets content requirements, quality standards, and modern economic demands
Developing new and updating existing professional education program templates and modules
Directing the development and updating of study subject programs and thematic plans
Executing tasks related to the organization of state centralized exams and olympiads
Organizing professional development activities, best practices sharing, and experience transfer for teaching staff
Directing and coordinating methodological work in professional education programs: "Accounting," "Logistics," "Catering Services," "Restaurant Services," "Administrative and Secretary Services," "Food Product Technology," and "Information Technology Security"
You should have:
Higher education in pedagogy; management sciences or engineering and related fields (preferably with a 72-hour teacher professional development certificate)
Experience in leading administrative work in an educational institution
Knowledge of legal acts regulating the education sector
Organizational skills
Ability to prepare documents in accordance with regulatory requirements
Psychological resilience and high communication standards
Ability to resolve conflicts, argue your position, and make decisions
State language proficiency at the highest level
English language knowledge at least B1 level
Computer skills (MS Office applications)
Category B driver's license
