Key Responsibilities:
· Provide professional support to educational institutions in the district in the Latvian Language field.
· Organize and maintain regular collaboration with Latvian Language pedagogues in the district.
· Promote compilation of best practice examples and inform pedagogues of current developments.
· Implement support measures and provide consultations to pedagogues on educational quality development issues in the Latvian Language field.
· Recommend proposals and solutions for developing Latvian Language content matters in the district.
· Regularly inform direct supervisor of all important events and progress within the scope of competence.
· Maintain communication with state and municipal-level methodologists to achieve project objectives.
· Collaborate with project methodologists from other districts.
Requirements for Candidates:
· In accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and Procedure for Continuing Professional Development of Pedagogues".
· Higher pedagogical education.
· Ability to organize, work in a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to express and reasonably substantiate own opinion.
· Minimum 3 years of work experience in pedagogical activities in the Latvian Language teaching field.
· Desired experience in planning, coordinating, or organizing Latvian Language methodological work.
· Desired experience in organizing collaboration or methodological work among multiple educational institutions.
· Knowledge and skills in developing educational content and methodological materials.
· Good skills in operating office equipment.
· Excellent computer literacy.
· State language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with State Language Law requirements.
