Ropažu Municipality Self-government Ulbroka Early Childhood Education Institution "Pienenīte" (registration number 40900004565) invites applications for Early Childhood Education Methodology Specialist (profession code 2351 01) Key Job Responsibilities: • ensure implementation of state early childhood education guidelines and early childhood education programs; • plan and implement quality educational processes in accordance with regulatory requirements; • provide methodological support to educators in implementing early childhood education programs in accordance with the principles embedded in the new guidelines (competency-based approach); • ensure identification, systematization, and organization of methodological materials and educational resources; • ensure preparation of reports and documentation in accordance with your competence; • participate in developing regulatory acts that govern the internal procedures of the educational institution and ensure their compliance; • participate in institutional development planning and other duties as per job description. Requirements for Candidates: • good communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues; • interest in and understanding of children's needs according to age group; • ability to make independent decisions; • ability to work in a team; • proficiency in information and communication technologies; • State language – advanced level, level 1 (C1); • high sense of responsibility toward assigned duties and accuracy in their performance; • ability to plan and organize your work; • knowledge of legal acts regulating the education field; • desirable: pedagogical work experience in early childhood education (5 years) or work experience in a similar position (3 years); • candidate is not subject to restrictions established in the Education Law and Child Rights Protection Law for working as an educator.
