Ogres Municipality Education Department invites applications for a Senior Specialist in General Education (Quality Management) (indefinite contract) Ogres Municipality Education Department is seeking a professional to join our team who is committed to contributing to the improvement of education quality in the municipality by working with data, systems, and development processes. Work location: Ogres Municipality Education Department, Ogre, Brīvības Street 11 Main Responsibilities Develop and improve the municipality's general education quality management system Analyze education institutions' operational quality indicators and prepare conclusions Supervise school development planning and self-assessment processes Coordinate external evaluation processes and cooperation with relevant institutions Develop recommendations for improving education quality Consult education institution management on regulatory compliance Prepare internal regulatory documents and methodological materials Collect and analyze data on student numbers, academic achievements, and staff Requirements for Candidates Higher education in pedagogy, education management, education sciences, management sciences, quality management, or an equivalent field At least 3 years of professional experience in education or quality management in public services, or analytical/project management work in the public sector Understanding of the general education system and regulatory framework (or ability to quickly acquire it) Understanding of quality management principles and data use in decision-making Good digital skills (particularly working with data) Excellent knowledge of Latvian Required Competencies Analytical and strategic thinking Ability to plan work and meet deadlines Good communication and cooperation skills High sense of responsibility and precision Ability to initiate and support change processes for improving education quality Preferred qualifications: Experience in developing or implementing quality management systems Experience working with education institutions Data analysis or statistics processing skills Project management experience English language knowledge for working with international information We Offer Meaningful work that benefits society, where you can directly contribute to the development of education quality in the municipality A dynamic, responsible, and professionally challenging work environment A team of experienced and supportive colleagues Opportunities for continuous professional development Social benefits in accordance with state and municipal regulations Health insurance after the probationary period Vacation allowances and additional leave in accordance with performance evaluation Monthly salary 1980 EUR (gross) Flexible work arrangement (annualized working hours) and the opportunity to combine with pedagogical activities Application Please submit a motivation letter, CV, and copies of documents confirming education and qualifications with the notation: "Application for the position of Senior Specialist in General Education (Quality Management) at Ogres Municipality Education Department".
