The "Junda" Structure Unit "Lediņi" of Jelgava State City Municipality's Non-Formal Education Institution invites an EDUCATION SPECIALIST IN NATURAL SCIENCES to join the team. Job Responsibilities: - Develop and implement educational content related to nature and environmental education (classes, master classes, thematic workshops, etc.) for various target groups - students, educators, and event participants; - Create lesson content, teaching materials, and prepare necessary budget estimates; - Develop methodological materials needed for lesson implementation (worksheets, documentation materials, etc.); - Conduct educational activities both at the institution and in the field; - Analyze and improve the quality and effectiveness of educational programs; - Evaluate resources used in classes and provide recommendations for improvement when necessary; - Build partnerships with organizations, associations, and enterprises in the field of environmental and nature education; - Participate in events organized by the institution. Requirements for Candidates: - Education in accordance with the current Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Educators and the Procedure for Professional Development of Educators" sections 6 and 7, see https://likumi.lv/ta/id/301572-noteikumi-par-pedagogiem-nepieciesamo-izglitibu-un-profesionalo-kvalifikaciju-un-pedagogu-profesionalas-kompetences-pilnveides (may be a student in the field of pedagogy); - Education in natural sciences or related fields; - Interest in STEM and environmental education; - Strong communication and collaboration skills; - Sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and initiative; - Ability to create educational content for diverse target audiences.
