RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to be part of driving the development of tomorrow's IT environment in a socially important operation? As an IT Project Manager with us, you will have a key role in translating needs into functioning solutions that make a real difference.
You are responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating IT projects within the municipality's IT department, with a clear focus on technical deliveries and efficient implementation. The projects vary in size and complexity and can involve everything from system implementations and upgrades to further development and improvements of the existing IT environment.
In the role, you drive projects through their entire lifecycle, from initiation and planning to implementation, follow-up, and handover to operations and maintenance. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects meet established goals regarding time, budget, and quality, while also complying with applicable security requirements and agreements.
You work closely with colleagues in the IT Department and lead project resources such as system managers, solution architects, and operations technicians. At the same time, you serve as an important bridge between IT, operations, and external vendors.
A central part of the role is to drive and structure requirements management, from capturing needs and documenting requirements to ensuring that these are translated into well-functioning technical solutions that form the basis for both deliveries and agreements.
You are also involved in procurement processes and have an active role in monitoring agreements and managing vendors from an IT perspective. Through a structured approach, you are responsible for risk management, quality assurance, and ongoing follow-up, while ensuring good communication and alignment with affected operations.
When projects are completed, you ensure that the results are well documented and that the handover to operations and maintenance occurs smoothly and with quality assurance so that the solutions continue to create value over time.
Here you will have the opportunity to combine technology, structure, and collaboration in a role where you can truly influence both IT development and the municipality's ability to deliver services to its residents.
