About the Assignment
Scania is undergoing a comprehensive transformation of production in Oskarshamn, and we are now seeking an experienced technical project manager who wants to lead the IT deliverables linked to the changes within the Paintshop and Press Shop. This is a central role at a stage where production, automation, and IT meet – and where you become the link that translates the business's needs into functioning, robust IT solutions.
You will be the primary IT contact for the production organization and coordinate deliveries between local site teams and central IT functions at Scania. The assignment is a key role in ensuring that the transformation of manufacturing processes succeeds – technically, on schedule, and in collaboration with all involved parties.
What You Will Do
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate IT activities within your assigned portfolio responsibility
- Own the overall delivery plan – milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Drive progress through established governance and planning forums
- Escalate issues and risks to the appropriate decision-making forum when needed
- Coordinate deliveries between multiple IT and OT stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and real business value
Business Collaboration
- Be the primary IT contact for production stakeholders
- Build trust and strong collaboration between the business and IT
- Lead requirements gathering and clarification of needs
- Ensure that business expectations and IT deliverables are aligned
- Support business representatives during implementation, testing, and deployment
- Facilitate communication between production, automation, operations, and IT delivery teams
Who We Are Looking For
Requirements
- Documented experience as a technical project manager in IT/OT environments
- Experience leading complex IT deliverables in manufacturing industry or production environments
- Good understanding of MES, SCADA, industrial automation, shop-floor systems, and production-related integrations
- Experience managing stakeholders in both business and technical organizations
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Meritorious
- Experience from automotive manufacturing environments
- Experience from large-scale production transformations or digitalization initiatives
- Previous experience from Scania, TRATON, or similar industrial organizations
