As an IT Technician at Realgymnasiet, you work close to operations and create conditions for a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT environment for both students and staff. You are part of an administration team with various professions. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on daily IT work, where you handle support requests, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the school's digital infrastructure. In your role, you work proactively to ensure the IT environment functions efficiently and that users receive quick and quality support. You meet students and staff daily, where you guide, solve problems, and contribute to increased digital competence. You collaborate closely with colleagues within the organization and external vendors to create a secure and reliable IT environment. The role includes broad technical responsibility where you, in addition to IT support, also work with parts of the school's technical infrastructure related to security and facilities. The position involves extended responsibility in technology and security, where you work with user management, device management, and system administration. You coordinate with internal functions such as school management and facilities department, as well as external vendors. Duties Provide daily support to students and staff, primarily regarding computers, accounts, and digital tools Troubleshoot issues such as OneDrive synchronization, file management, and Office 365 Manage student and staff computers, including installation, reinstallation, and inventory Work with Microsoft Intune for device management and administration Ensure functionality of classroom technology such as projectors and wireless systems Collaborate with external vendors as needed, but with a focus on solving problems internally when possible Work systematically with permissions, user management, and IT security Contribute to service-oriented and solution-focused IT support in the organization Beyond this, the role includes work with systematic fire safety (SBA), including self-inspections and follow-up. The role also includes participation in safety rounds and work related to environment and security, such as handling safety data sheets. You are responsible for coordinating alarms, access systems, and permissions in collaboration with external actors, as well as managing and following up on security cameras. Additionally, ordering of technical materials related to IT and facilities, as well as administrative tasks in systems such as CoSafe, are included. Qualifications To be suitable for this assignment, we see that you have: Experience working as an IT technician in a school environment Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Office 365 and OneDrive Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar device management systems Basic knowledge of networking, client management, and IT security Experience working close to operations with user support We are looking for someone who is service-minded, solution-oriented, and has a strong drive. You thrive in a role where the pace is sometimes high and where you need to handle multiple tasks in parallel. You are structured in your work approach, have a good security mindset, and the ability to prioritize correctly. You have good communication skills and are confident when meeting with both students and staff. You are flexible, take responsibility, and actively contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and external actors. We particularly welcome someone who combines technical expertise with a strong operational focus and who thrives in a role that is both operational and developmental. The position is a permanent position at 80-100% depending on competence and organizational needs. We apply a 6-month probationary period! Employment form: Permanent employment.
