About the Operation
Do you have experience working with on-site support and want to continue developing in that field? Then this is a great opportunity for you! We at IT Support are looking for an IT technician for our frontline support.
IT Support's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider.
Within IT, approximately 90 people work, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work environment where we help each other develop. This means that as an employee, while sharing your experience, you have access to fantastic breadth and expertise in your daily work with your colleagues. As a member of the frontline support team, you will work with your colleagues to receive, handle, and troubleshoot IT-related issues. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå.
We are now seeking an IT technician for a full-time temporary position until September 30, 2027. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
Responsibilities
This position is suitable for you if you have user support experience, have a strong interest in IT, and are committed to doing your best to support users. As an IT technician, your responsibilities will include:
Receiving, handling, and troubleshooting incoming IT-related issues via phone, email, and the self-service portal
Troubleshooting issues at user locations
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who
Has a complete upper secondary education
Has experience working with technical support and service, or other work experience that the employer considers equivalent
Has previous work experience from larger organizations, such as a municipality or region
Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
Holds a category B driver's license
It is a merit if you
Have previous experience implementing, troubleshooting, and further developing Cisco video conferencing solutions in mission-critical environments
