About the Operation
Do you have experience working with on-site support and want to continue developing in this field? Then this is a great opportunity for you! We in IT Support are looking for an IT technician for our front-line support.
IT Support's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliverables are provided through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also largely works as a procuring organization since the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider.
Within IT, approximately 90 people work, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work environment where we help each other develop. This means that as an employee, while sharing your experience, you gain access to fantastic breadth and expertise in your daily work with your colleagues. As a member of front-line support, you will together with other colleagues receive, process, and troubleshoot IT-related cases. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå.
We are now seeking an IT technician for a full-time temporary position through 2027-09-30. Start date as soon as possible according to agreement.
Job Responsibilities
This position suits you if you have experience with user support, have a strong interest in IT, and want to do your best to support users. As an IT technician, your work tasks will include:
Receive, process, and troubleshoot incoming IT-related cases via phone, email, and the self-service portal
Troubleshoot incoming cases for users
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Have completed upper secondary education
Have experience working with technical support and service, or other work experience that the employer considers equivalent
Have previous work experience from larger organizations, such as a municipality or region
Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
Have a category B driver's license
It is a merit if you
Have previous experience implementing, troubleshooting, and further developing Cisco videoconferencing solutions in business-critical environments
