What you'll do with us As an IT technician in network and infrastructure, you work both hands-on with networks, servers and security, and on strategic planning of improvements and changes. You're also a key person in our dialogue with our operations partner. Your daily work includes (among other things): Operations and development of network and server environments – including switches, firewalls, Windows Server and VMware Configuration, troubleshooting and upgrades Backup and monitoring with modern tools Automation with PowerShell or Ansible Your team and workplace You'll become part of Coor's IT team at Karolinska in Solna. We're responsible for the platform that all IT rests on with high demands for security, availability and quality. You'll work closely with a local IT group from both Coor and our operations partner. We're on-site at Karolinska approximately 4 days a week and typically work office hours (8–17), but for example during upgrades you may need to be on-site from 06:00 on certain days. More about you We're looking for someone with several years of experience working with networks and preferably infrastructure in complex environments and who is used to taking responsibility both operationally and strategically. You have deep knowledge of networks, preferably with a certification or competency level equivalent to CCNP. In servers and infrastructure you have good experience with Windows Server, VMware and have worked with services like AD, DNS and DHCP. You've likely also worked with backup and monitoring of operations environments, and if you additionally have experience automating tasks with for example PowerShell or Ansible that's a merit. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are structured, solution-oriented and work well collaboratively. The role requires that you are present, both physically and communicatively, and that you take responsibility for both the big picture and the details. Given how our environment looks, you need to be able to reprioritize when conditions change, switch between planned work and issues that need solving here and now, and keep calm when multiple things compete for attention.
