Your Role
As an IT technician, you work closely with our platforms and services and are responsible for ensuring they function in practice. You work at the intersection of operations, development, and business. This means that you:
Ensure stable operations and high availability
Troubleshoot and manage incidents and problems
Work with in-depth technical support
Actively contribute to improvements and further development of the IT environment
Introduce new solutions and changes
You work in a broad and business-critical IT environment with on-premises operations, hybrid environments, and platforms within Microsoft, infrastructure, network, and security. The environment includes both on-premises and cloud services and places high demands on availability, stability, and control.
On-call support is included.
We are Looking for You
You work as an IT technician today, or have done so recently, and are used to working operationally with operations, infrastructure, or platforms. You have good experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving and thrive in a role where you ensure that systems function stably and efficiently in everyday operations.
We see that you:
Have worked with operations, servers, or infrastructure
Have experience working in modern IT environments, for example with cloud platforms or hybrid environments
Have the ability to create an overall picture of an IT environment and how it is structured
Enjoy troubleshooting and handling incidents in a production environment
Have experience working in an IT environment with requirements for stability and availability
And have basic understanding in:
Microsoft environment, for example Windows, Azure, or Microsoft 365
Infrastructure and platforms, for example servers, virtualization, or storage
Networking, security, or backup
You may have academic IT education, but the most important thing is that you have applied your knowledge in practice and are confident in a technical operations environment. Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement.
To succeed and thrive in the role as IT technician, you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with strong self-drive. You work independently, take initiative, and have a genuine interest in developing and improving technical solutions over time. At the same time, you are a team player who finds it easy to collaborate with both colleagues and users.
You thrive in a dynamic environment where multiple tasks and cases run in parallel. With good structure and the ability to prioritize, you can handle varying work tempo and make well-founded decisions even when several things require your attention at the same time. Your service-mindedness, flexibility, and willingness to continuously develop contribute to both the business and the team's success.

You will become part of Digital Platforms and Services, which is responsible for Mälarenergi's shared IT platforms and services. The team consists of 14 employees and we are now strengthening the area to take the next step in development.
