The IT and Digital Infrastructure Department is now strengthening its IT Service team with an IT Technician. The role involves work with computer workstations, software installation and distribution, as well as support to operations at the university college's two campuses. We're looking for someone who wants to participate in daily operational work while also helping develop the team's routines and services, in an environment where collaboration, quality, and long-term thinking are central. Your day as an IT Technician Your day as an IT Technician is varied and diverse, with broad responsibilities within IT service. You work closely with operations and handle everything from installation and maintenance of computer workstations to ongoing IT support and troubleshooting. Some days are characterized by planned tasks and improvement work, while others involve quick solutions to urgent needs – which makes the work both challenging and developmental. You are part of a small team with close collaboration, where you collectively ensure that IT support functions reliably at both of the university college's campuses. At the same time, there is room to take your own initiatives and contribute to the development of routines and services. The role offers a secure and stable work environment, where long-term thinking, quality, and collaboration are in focus. Are you the person we're looking for? You have completed post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience. You have knowledge in: Management of Microsoft Windows-based client environments with Intune as a tool Software installation and configuration Networking (basic from a client perspective) You also have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as experience in IT support or a similar role. It is advantageous if you have: A driver's license Competence in automated software packaging Experience working with and administering Mac environments. The Employment The employment is a permanent position, at 100% full-time, with start as soon as possible. A probationary period is normally applied.
