About the Operations The IT Operations' mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, management and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. Within IT, approximately 90 people work, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work environment where we help each other develop. Our operations are mainly located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå. This is not a classical operations role. This is an opportunity to become a platform expert in one of our major development leaps. We are seeking an IT specialist who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our ESM platform - from structure and data model to integrations and development. We are now recruiting two complementary roles - an object specialist and an IT specialist - who will work closely together. You will have the opportunity to step in at an early stage, together with a colleague in a similar situation, where you jointly build up working methods, structure and development around our new platform. As an IT specialist, you become technically responsible for the platform. You ensure that it works, fits together and can develop over time - without us becoming dependent on consultants. You work closely with an object specialist where you together are responsible for developing the platform in line with the organization's needs and technical capabilities. The roles are designed to complement each other and give you the opportunity to shape working methods, structure and priorities from the start together with your colleague. Work Tasks You will Work with configuration and further development of the platform Manage data models, relationships and structure Build and maintain automations and rules Work with integrations and technical connections Work with permissions, CMDB and troubleshooting Support the object specialist and operations with technical questions You are the one who ensures that the platform is sustainable, scalable and developable. Qualifications We are looking for you who Have an academic degree in the fields of systems science and information security or equivalent competence deemed to be relevant Have at least three years of documented work experience in the field of systems management and platforms Have previous experience working with technical management of IT systems and IT services in complex organizations, for example region, municipality or in the private sector Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Have a B driving license It is meritorious if you Have education and knowledge in ITIL, pm3, CMDB, ITSM or ESM tools Have experience with integrations and APIs Have experience working with automation and rule-based governance To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities Flexible Collaborative skills Structured Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' opportunity to participate in society.
