With new technology, we increase both the infrastructure's capacity and the pace of development in digitalization and processes. #LI-DNI About the Position The role involves working together with other IT specialists and System Administrators in a management organization that works closely with our operations and is responsible for managing Svenska kraftnät's SCADA/EMS systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead incident troubleshooting and provide support to other systems, our operations, and external parties. Write scripts and manage manual SQL database operations to assist with manual deployment, testing, and troubleshooting. Continuously ensure that technical changes in the application do not affect operational security, IT security, and existing functionality. Secure the delivery and operation of SCADA/EMS systems including maintenance and monitoring. You will also participate in upgrades and system improvements. Work together with the team to continuously develop the team's activities and processes. Contribute to technical investigations, projects, and initiatives related to developing the future power system. The unit consists of 18 employees and its primary responsibility is to manage and develop a SCADA/EMS system used in the control room to control, monitor, and optimize the operation of the transmission network. Roles within the unit include IT Specialists, System and Application Responsible IT, Solution Architects, and IT Management Leaders. Education: You have a relevant university degree in, for example, computer engineering, systems science, networking, IT, automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät deems equivalent. You also have: At least 5 years of work experience in the operation, management, and development of business-critical or operationally critical IT systems. Several years of practical experience with scripting and programming (for example, Python, Bash) to automate and streamline processes. Experience with application and system administration of industrial control systems such as SCADA/EMS. At least 2 years of work experience with SQL/MySQL. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Meriting Qualifications Experience from security-sensitive operations. Experience or certification within ITIL. Experience with IT monitoring platforms. Good understanding of information and cybersecurity. Good to Know The position is located in Sundbyberg. On-call duty may occur.
