As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing IT service delivery within your area of responsibility. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, project managers, service owners, and other parts of the client's IT organization to ensure that services and deliverables meet business needs.
You will contribute structure, a holistic perspective, and a proactive approach to create stable and efficient service delivery. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with various stakeholders.
This is a consulting assignment for approximately 12 months.
Work Location: Linköping or Stockholm.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor IT deliverables within your area of responsibility.
Support the service owner in budgeting and cost tracking.
Ensure that operational activities are carried out according to agreements, arrangements, and business needs.
Identify risks, deviations, and improvement areas, and initiate actions as needed.
Coordinate maintenance and management activities to ensure stable service delivery.
Monitor and report on service quality, cost, performance, and delivery capability.
Collaborate with colleagues, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods, processes, and services in the area.
Requirements
Experience planning, coordinating, and monitoring deliverables.
Experience with budget tracking or financial monitoring in collaboration with the responsible service owner.
Ability to identify risks and drive improvement initiatives.
Experience coordinating activities between multiple stakeholders and functions.
Experience with agile working methods and methodologies.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Ability to work in a structured, relationship-building, and collaborative manner.
