The Quality Department coordinates and leads the District Administration's work with planning, follow-up, innovation, and development. The department is responsible for security and safety issues, IT support, and matters related to citizen participation and civil society. The IT unit provides support to operations within the entire district administration and to our two administrative offices. The position is located at our two administrative offices within the Northern Inner City. The team consists of eight employees. Your Role The IT coordinator role is divided into two parts. One part consists of local IT support and technical assistance to our users, which is done in collaboration with the city's IT providers (Tieto and Fujitsu). Support is provided at the administrative offices and in our various operations spread throughout the district. The other part is to lead, support, and coordinate larger IT initiatives and smaller projects. This work is primarily performed at the administrative offices. To be able to manage projects, you'll need to learn the underlying systems we work with. It's also important to develop an understanding of delivery chains and be able to prioritize employee needs and requests. The role involves physical elements, so good physical fitness is an advantage. Your main responsibilities as IT coordinator include, among others: support new employees and consultants with accounts, passwords, and access rights responsible for ordering, administration, and access management of accounts, network drives, email lists, licenses, and service cards perform installations and reinstallations of digital devices, and when necessary, coordinate exchanges of digital devices serve as the contact person for ordering digital devices, IT peripherals, printers, AV equipment, etc. be the contact person and requester for matters related to data communication/networks perform regular maintenance and validation to ensure data accuracy regarding resources such as digital devices, network drives, peripherals, access rights, etc. Your main responsibilities as project manager include, among others: assess the need for IT support in operations support operations with information classification work, identify information requiring protection, and help ensure information is handled in accordance with applicable information security requirements lead and coordinate larger IT-related initiatives such as relocations of operations, closures of operations, or implementation of new IT support. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who has: completed upper secondary education several years of current experience working as IT support, on-site technician, or IT technician (not solely as phone support) experience with troubleshooting in IT technology (server, client, network, firewall) experience leading multiple smaller IT-related technical projects or participated as a technical project member in larger IT projects experience with preliminary studies and analytical work related to, for example, establishing networks at offices, implementing new system support, and analyzing IT support needs strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is considered a merit if you have: experience with process mapping tools (2c8, Visio, etc.) post-secondary IT education project management training experience in information and IT security experience making orders such as certificates, firewall openings, and DNS changes experience implementing or supporting operations in information classification work experience with outsourced IT environments.
