The IT Department develops and modernizes the police's IT, and the authority is investing heavily in strengthening the department with new specialist expertise and the latest technology for the benefit of citizens and employees in police operations. Delivery and Support delivers, maintains, coordinates, and manages the technology used by the authority's employees in their work. Delivery and Support provides and delivers support for all technology used by core operations such as data/telecommunications systems, including radio communications/Rakel and vehicle systems. Job Description: In the role of IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating our deliveries. Our assignments vary in size and may involve IT coordination in a new police station, changes to existing facilities, or the implementation of new systems and tools to develop and improve police work both strategically and in the field. In the role of IT Coordinator, you are the hub in our operations toward our various contact points, i.e., the rest of the IT Department, product owners, contractors, operations, other authorities, and external suppliers. You ensure that conditions are in place for our technicians to carry out deliveries to operations. Travel occurs in the work. Qualifications: This is an opportunity for you who have: Secondary or post-secondary technical education, or equivalent acquired experience that the Police Authority deems equivalent Several years of experience in coordinating/planning technical projects Experience with implementation of facility networks/security systems and work with IT technical infrastructure Experience working with physical security, alarms, access control, and camera systems Experience with documentation and development of routines/processes Very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Category B driver's license The position requires Swedish citizenship. It is meriting if you also have: Experience with agile work in Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Experience with construction projects Personal Qualities: We are looking for you who are responsible and self-organize your work and drive your processes forward.
