Job Responsibilities The job duties include reviewing and assessing IT systems and IT security-enhancing products based on associated system documentation and applicable regulations. This involves verifying their security capabilities, threats and risks to these systems, as well as confidence in the technical implementation. The job duties also include formulating and writing necessary documents regarding review and assessment of IT systems. As an IT security specialist, you will also conduct unit visits and participate in security inspections at various locations. You will provide support and guidance on IT security matters, and work proactively with regulatory changes and guidelines within various technical areas. In your work, you follow applicable laws, regulations, and ethical principles to best manage and protect information with high security quality. Qualifications - We are looking for someone with several years of documented experience in IT and information security and solid technical IT expertise. - You have a good technical understanding as the job duties largely consist of analyzing control documents and technical review reports. - You have deep knowledge of information security regarding evaluating vulnerabilities and proposing protective measures. - A degree at the academic level or equivalent competence and experience as deemed by the employer. - Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. - Good collaboration skills. - Valid driver's license for a passenger vehicle. Meritorious - Good knowledge within IT architecture, employed or previously employed by the Swedish Armed Forces, knowledge of the agency and the regulations governing the Swedish Armed Forces and total defense. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and meticulous with good analytical ability. You are motivated by working at a fast pace in a changing environment. The position requires a high level of security awareness. The ability to quickly switch between planned and event-driven tasks with the ability to quickly grasp a problem that arises with short notice. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Other Information Work location: Stockholm, on-site with limited opportunity to work from home. Employment form: Permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period.
