Welcome to our world! IT Security Officer for IT Operations Do you want to use your technical expertise to make a real difference? Do you want to help strengthen security in a modern IT environment? At Swedish Red Cross, you contribute to activities that save lives every day. We are now seeking an engaged and driven IT Security Officer who wants to take comprehensive responsibility for our operational IT security work. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our CISO and be a key person in developing our IT security. You combine strategic security work with operational support to the organization and actively contribute to creating a secure, stable, and efficient IT environment. About the Position As IT Security Officer, you are part of IT Operations and responsible for planning, prioritizing, and driving daily security work. You work both strategically and operatively to develop our security capabilities and ensure that our processes and solutions maintain a high level of security. Your main tasks include: Plan, prioritize, and drive IT security work. Conduct and follow up on security training and information initiatives for the organization. Lead and coordinate incident management for security-related events. Conduct regular reviews and follow-ups with our SOC. Participate in risk analyses, security audits, and improvement initiatives. Together with the CISO, develop and maintain security policies, guidelines, and security architecture. Support other IT Operations colleagues in our daily operations, management, and support. About You You have a strong interest in IT security and the ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions. You are structured, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with both technical specialists and business representatives. We would like to see that you have: Many years of documented experience working in IT security, operations, infrastructure, and support. Very good knowledge of operating and supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows-based environments. Experience with identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud security. Experience with security incidents, incident management, and security monitoring. Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and policy work. Ability to document, communicate, and educate on security matters. Other Information This is a permanent full-time position based at our office on Lindhagensgatan 126 in Stockholm. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. At Swedish Red Cross, we have reduced working hours and work an average of 36.25 hours per week over the year. We also offer the possibility to work from home up to two days a week and to perform one hour of wellness activities during paid work time. We offer wellness allowance and lunch benefits.
