The Northern Area is in an exciting transition phase where we are growing as a service provider both internally and for other government agencies. Here we value knowledge sharing and collaboration, and we are now seeking an IT Development Manager to contribute to the development and management of socially important services. As an IT Development Manager, you will be part of a team with five development managers. The team is part of the operational management group within the delivery area and together contributes to creating direction, structure and momentum in the area's development and management work. Change management, coaching, agile methodology, development leadership and complex IT environments The role involves leading and coordinating assignments and projects in the area. You have a coaching approach and work actively to remove obstacles, create momentum and facilitate collaboration between different competencies. You support employees and groups in taking responsibility, developing working methods and achieving common goals. You lead assignments or projects with high complexity across different parts of the organization. This involves planning, prioritizing, budgeting and following up on activities, dependencies and deliverables. You need to be able to balance technical, business and user requirements and identify the smallest possible deliverable that creates value. As part of the operational management group, you also contribute to seeing the bigger picture within the Northern Area. You collaborate with other development managers and other functions to prioritize efforts, manage dependencies and create a common direction for development and management. An important part of the role is to lead change and develop working methods within your area of responsibility. You contribute to ensuring that new solutions and working methods become part of the operations and ensure that relevant knowledge is transferred to affected employees. The role may also include budget responsibility for assignments or operations. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to create structure and momentum in complex contexts, build trust and communicate clearly. You also need to be able to make well-founded decisions when different needs and perspectives need to be weighed against each other. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness.
