For Borgholms Municipality, digitalization is about developing operations and creating better conditions to fulfill the municipality's mission. We are now seeking two IT Partners who will help our departments translate needs and new opportunities into concrete benefits – through better digital support, simpler processes, and changed ways of working. As an IT Partner, you work closely with the municipality's departments and serve as a link between operations and IT. You help managers, system owners, system administrators, and other key personnel identify and structure needs, find possible paths forward, and translate them into concrete changes. The two IT Partners have the same core mission, but we would appreciate if you together contribute different experiences, perspectives, and competencies. 2 position(s). DUTIES As an IT Partner, you work closely with departments on digitalization, system support, operations development, and changed ways of working. The solution can be new technology, better use of what we already have, or a changed way of working. You will, among other things: • capture, analyze, and structure operational needs • translate needs into requirements, priorities, decision bases, and solution proposals • support managers, system owners, system administrators, and other key personnel • participate in implementation, development, and management of systems and digital solutions • lead or coordinate development, change, and implementation activities • create effective collaboration between operations, IT, and external suppliers • document needs, processes, decisions, and follow-ups. The focus is on operational needs, coordination, and change rather than technical specialist expertise. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements • Relevant degree from college or university in IT, digitalization, systems science, operations development, project management, public administration, or other education that the employer considers equivalent • Good understanding of the relationship between operational needs, digital ways of working, and technical solutions You must also have at least five years of current experience with: • operations-oriented work with digitalization, system support, operations development, or changed ways of working • capturing, analyzing, and structuring operational needs • translating needs into requirements, priorities, decision bases, or solution proposals • supporting managers, system owners, system administrators, or other key personnel • participating in implementation, development, or management of systems and digital solutions • leading or coordinating development, change, or implementation activities • documenting needs, processes, decisions, and follow-ups Meritorious • Experience with municipal or other politically governed activities • Project or change management • Requirements specification and procurement • System administration • Information security and data protection in connection with digitalization and system implementations Personal qualities • To succeed as an IT Partner, you need to be operations-oriented and curious about how different parts of the municipality work • You create trustful relationships and enjoy collaborating with people with different roles and perspectives • You are pedagogical, structured, and analytical and can make complex issues understandable. You have the ability to move from an expressed wish to understanding the underlying need • You are coordinating and driven and take responsibility for moving matters forward. You can create participation and momentum even in matters where many need to contribute and you do not own all parts yourself • As a team member in the IT department, you are expected to contribute to collaboration, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement, and have a security-conscious way of working We place great importance on personal suitability.
