To thrive and succeed in the role of IT Manager with support functions, you are a service-oriented person who enjoys helping others and creating positive user experiences. In this role, you will provide user support to employees and students within our operations in Trollhättan and Vänersborg. You handle and follow up on IT-related support cases and work with installation, configuration, and administration of computers, software, and mobile devices. Tasks also include managing user accounts and participating in the rollout of new equipment and new IT services. An important part of the work is troubleshooting and solving problems related to computers, printers, and AV technology. You document procedures and solutions and actively contribute to developing the IT department's working methods and service to the organization. Qualifications To succeed in the role, we see that you have: Relevant high school diploma or post-secondary education in IT/technology or another area that the employer deems relevant. Experience working in IT support, system administration, or similar IT-related work. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good service orientation and experience providing support to users with varying technical competence. Driver's license (B category). It is meritorious if you also have: Experience from educational activities and/or the public sector. Experience with Google Chromebooks, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, case management systems, and Open-E services. Knowledge of networks, printers, conference equipment, and AV technology. Other Information: Interviews may take place during the application period. The position is a six-month contract with the possibility of extension depending on the organization's needs.
