What does the role include?
As an IT Support Specialist with us, you will be a highly valuable resource for nearly 600 employees at our office. You are responsible for local technical support, including computers and accessories, printers, copying equipment, and mobile phones. Coaching and supporting users in IT matters is also part of your daily work. You will also order service cards, computers, and accessories, as well as manage invoices.
A close colleague of yours will be the authority's IT coordinator, with whom you will have daily dialogue and collaboration.
Other tasks may include inventorying needs for our future IT environment so that it becomes as user-friendly as possible.
We work in a Windows environment.
Are you the person we're looking for?
For this role, we want you to have:
- upper secondary education,
- post-secondary IT education that the employer considers relevant, or at least two years of experience that the employer considers equivalent,
- good knowledge of common applications in the Microsoft environment,
- professional experience with methodical troubleshooting and problem-solving of computers and peripherals,
- good knowledge of networks,
- good knowledge and understanding of IT security and information security.
As a person, you are service-oriented and have a strong interest in IT technology. Since you will be working with support and with colleagues who need your expertise, you have very good communication and pedagogical skills. You are also solution-oriented and enjoy being proactive and taking initiative.

The position is a one-year fixed-term employment, with the possibility of extension.
We want you to start as soon as possible or by agreement.
You will be part of the Unit for Sustainability, Procurement and Services with approximately 23 employees, and you will be part of the unit's service team.
You must be a Swedish citizen because the work tasks within the position are classified as security-sensitive. We will conduct a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
