Client: Soros Consulting AB Competency Area: IT Governance Manager Level: 4 (senior) Scope: 100% Location: Örebro (typically 4 days/week on-site, other days remote – more on-site days may be required during initial weeks) About the Assignment For our client SCB, we are now seeking an experienced IT Governance Manager. SCB operates according to established governance principles and manages an overarching governance object that encompasses the entire IT department. The agency is in a development phase where IT governance needs to be strengthened through more systematic and business-aligned change and improvement work – and you will be a key person in this effort. As IT Governance Manager, you will lead and coordinate the governance object for IT operations, with both strategic and operational responsibility. The assignment involves close collaboration with the business, external providers, and internal IT resources. Your Responsibilities The role includes, among other things: - Ensure that the governance object supports the agency's business objectives - Contribute to the development of governance control and working methods - Develop and maintain governance plans and roadmaps - Lead and coordinate governance activities within the IT area - Prioritize and follow up on changes, incidents, and improvement initiatives - Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and agreed-upon costs - Serve as a contact point between the business and IT - Collaborate with external providers and ensure delivery according to contracts - Coordinate internal resources within the IT department - Monitor objectives, KPIs, and SLAs, and report status, risks, and deviations to the steering group - Manage risks and work proactively on improvements You will also have a clear responsibility to drive change and improvement work across the entire IT governance (not just the infrastructure part that today's governance object includes), including by: - Leading and structuring change initiatives linked to IT governance - Driving continuous improvement of processes, working methods, and governance - Anchor changes within the business and affected stakeholders - Identify improvement areas based on monitoring and analysis - Establish and further develop change management working methods - Lead change work related to implementing new systems and processes - Support managers and teams in change journeys and contribute to increased change maturity Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone at competency level 4: you have very high expertise in the field, have completed complex assignments with very high quality (normally no earlier than 9–12 years of experience in the role), take primary responsibility for leading larger groups, and work with great independence. Must-haves (documented practical experience, normally over 2 years and not older than 5 years from the final bid date): - At least 4 years of experience as an IT Governance Manager or in an equivalent role - Experience leading change work within IT operations and/or IT governance in organizations with more than 200 employees - Experience working according to ITIL - Experience managing complex IT environments in an organization with more than 200 employees - Experience working with agile working methods and transformation journeys - Experience with supplier management – ensuring that external and internal providers deliver according to requirements and contribute to business objectives Merits (should-haves): - ITIL certification - Change management certification - Experience from the public sector or government agencies with more than 500 employees - Experience establishing or further developing governance models How to Apply Send your CV to [email protected].
