We are now seeking an IT operations technician for an assignment with our customer in Gothenburg. You will work in a modern and technically varied IT environment together with a team of specialists. The role is suitable for you if you want to work broadly with operations, servers, clients, and infrastructure. About the Role As an IT operations technician, you are responsible for operations, maintenance, and further development of the customer's IT environment. You work to ensure stable and secure operations of systems and infrastructure and handle incidents, problems, and changes in the environment. You work closely with other technical teams and contribute to stable, secure, and well-functioning IT delivery to the business. Your Responsibilities Operations, maintenance, and monitoring of IT systems and infrastructure Troubleshooting and handling incidents and technical problems in server and client environments Administration of Active Directory and user and access management Administration and troubleshooting in Microsoft 365 environments Installation, configuration, and patching of servers and clients Proactive monitoring to identify and prevent disruptions Collaboration with other technical teams on incidents, changes, and improvements Documentation of solutions, technical procedures, and environments Your Profile We are looking for someone who is technically curious and comfortable in a role where you can work both operationally and analytically. You have a structured and methodical work approach and enjoy troubleshooting problems until you find a sustainable solution. You are comfortable collaborating with other technicians, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and actively contribute to improvements in the technical environment. We would like to see that you have experience in several of the following areas: Experience working in IT operations, system administration, or qualified technical support Windows Server and Windows client environments Active Directory Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID Basic network knowledge within TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Work with monitoring or incident management systems Experience with virtualization using VMware or Hyper-V It is a plus if you also have experience with automation, patch management, or operations in larger IT environments.
