We are now seeking an IT Operations Technician for an assignment with our customer in Gothenburg where you will work in a modern IT environment together with a team of technical specialists. The role is ideal for you if you want to work broadly within operations, servers, clients, and infrastructure. About the Role As an IT Operations Technician, you are responsible for operations, maintenance, and further development of the customer's IT environment. You work to ensure stable operations of systems and infrastructure and handle incidents, problems, and changes in the environment. You will work closely with other technical teams and contribute to ensuring stable and secure IT delivery to the organization. Responsibilities Operations, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure Troubleshooting and handling incidents in server and client environments Administration of Active Directory and user management Work in Microsoft 365 environments Installation, configuration, and patching of servers and clients Monitoring of systems and services to ensure stable operations Collaboration with other technical teams on incidents, changes, and improvements Documentation of solutions and technical procedures Your Profile We are looking for someone who is technically curious and enjoys a role where you work both operationally and analytically. You have a structured work approach and enjoy troubleshooting problems until you find a sustainable solution. You enjoy collaborating with other technicians and like to share your knowledge. We would like to see that you have experience with several of the following areas: Experience working in IT operations or technical support Windows Server and client environments Active Directory Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra ID Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Work with monitoring systems or ticketing systems Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) It is a plus if you also have experience with automation, patch management, or operations in larger IT environments.
