We are now looking for an IT Manager who wants to take full responsibility for infrastructure, architecture and development, and who is driven by creating modern, stable and business-aligned IT solutions. Here you will have a key role with significant influence over direction, culture and technical development. About the role As IT Manager, you have overall responsibility for all IT delivery, from infrastructure and operations to architecture and systems development, and lead an organization of approximately 55 employees. You are responsible for several areas of expertise and ensure that together they enable both internal IT environments and SSG's customer products to be developed and managed in a purposeful, cost-effective and long-term sustainable way that supports the business's objectives. The role involves setting the strategic direction for IT, while together with the group managers within IT, you drive, coach and follow up on the organization's work at individual, team and department level. Your responsibilities include creating conditions for different roles to continue developing the technical platform and architecture as well as the team-based way of working. You work closely with the business and product management, translating needs into technical capabilities, anchoring the need for technical shifts and ensuring that IT contributes to business value. The role also includes responsibility for suppliers and partners, as well as continuously driving improvement work, prioritization and investments within the IT area. As a leader, you are responsible for development and infrastructure teams and lead through specialists and other managers. You actively work to build a cohesive organization where collaboration between departments at SSG as well as within IT is central. You create structure, direction and engagement, and together with the group managers ensure that the organization has capabilities that meet both today's and tomorrow's needs. You are part of the management team and report to the CEO, which gives you a central role in shaping the business's direction together with others in management. Location is Sundsvall. Who are you We see that you have relevant academic education, alternatively other education and experience that we assess as equivalent. You are an experienced leader with good understanding of the entire IT landscape, where you have a technical foundation to stand on, regardless of whether it comes from infrastructure, development or architecture. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the whole picture and create balance between stable operations, long-term technical direction and fast team-based development. As a person, you are confident in your leadership and experienced in leading through others, while you have sufficient technical depth to be able to challenge, prioritize and make well-founded decisions. You thrive in a role where you can combine strategy and operational issues, where you build bridges between technology and business and can act as a change leader. You are communicative and inspiring trust, with the ability to create engagement and clarity in complex environments. You are driven by development, both of people, organization and technology, and see the value in working in a structured, long-term manner with continuous improvements.
