We are now strengthening our IT and digitalization function with three new employees, including one IT architect, to meet today's need for user-centered and customer-friendly solutions. You will be one of five members of the IT and digitalization function, led by a responsible team leader. As an IT architect with us, you will have a broad and business-oriented role where you are responsible for system environment, integrations and technical decisions. You combine architecture work with technical advice, requirements management, project support and supplier dialogue in a small and agile IT and digitalization function. You work closely with business developers for digitalization, IT and digitalization project managers, IT operations managers and IT technicians. The IT and digitalization function is part of, together with business development, communication and environment and sustainability, one of six teams in the operations support department. All employees in the cross-functional team are self-directed specialists and independently lead work within their field of expertise. Tasks As an IT architect, you are responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's system environment, integrations and technical vision. You become our technical key person who translates the business and customers' needs into smart, robust, user-friendly and long-term sustainable IT solutions. You are responsible for the overall system architecture and development of our IT environment. You develop and maintain our technical vision and our architecture principles. You map and analyze systems, integrations and dependencies. You identify risks, opportunities and improvement areas in our IT environment. You ensure sustainable information flows and integrations between systems. You participate in procurements, system selections and requirements management. You are our technically qualified buyer and supplier contact. You contribute technical expertise to projects and change initiatives. You participate in our IT environment management organization. In the role, you build and develop close collaborations with business, IT, customers and suppliers to create successful implementations and sustainable solutions. You contribute technical expertise to projects and development initiatives while helping the organization make well-informed decisions about systems, integrations and technology choices. You contribute to a secure, stable and long-term sustainable IT architecture. We believe you are an experienced IT architect with a broad background and many years of experience in qualified IT roles. You want to be part of building a robust technical foundation for GSL's digital development. You are solution-focused, unpretentious and enjoy a broad role where you can combine technical expertise with practical implementation. You enjoy the meeting between people and technology and have the ability to balance business, technical and economic perspectives. You are pedagogical, have excellent collaboration skills and are confident and independent in your role as IT architect at GSL. Qualifications To apply for the position you need: Higher education or university degree in IT, systems science, computer science or equivalent. Several years of experience in qualified IT roles. (+selection question with number of years). Experience with system architecture, system integrations and information flows. Experience participating in or supporting major system implementations. Experience with requirements management towards suppliers. Good understanding of cybersecurity, information security and GDPR. It is a merit if you have: Experience as a system administrator or operations manager. Experience with PM3 or similar management model. Experience from the public sector. Experience with procurement according to LOU. Experience with data analysis or data-driven approach. Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
