We are seeking an IT Architect who wants to help shape the digital infrastructure of the future and lay the foundation for digital services within healthcare, public transportation, education, and regional development. As an IT Architect focused on digital infrastructure, you will help create a sustainable, secure, and fit-for-purpose digital infrastructure. Together with specialists, you will support operations in making long-term technical decisions. You will identify new technical opportunities and ensure that solutions meet both operational needs and technical requirements. By developing architecture descriptions, scenarios, and visualizations, you create a clear overall picture that promotes standardization, reuse, and long-term development. You will become an important part of our architecture function and contribute to Region Kalmar County's digital capabilities. Your workplace will be at one of our offices in Kalmar, Västervik, or Oskarshamn. About You We are looking for someone who has: - relevant academic education in the field or equivalent experience - experience with server and storage solutions, networking/data communication, and IT security - knowledge of relevant standards, processes, and governing principles It is advantageous if you have experience with architectural frameworks and tools, container-based platforms, metrics and log analysis, software-defined data centers, network segmentation, and federated identity solutions. As a person, you like to work in a structured manner and see the bigger picture in the solutions you deliver. You are communicative and adapt how you convey information to your audience.
