About the Role We at Burde Publishing are now seeking an experienced IT Director who wants to help shape our global growth strategy. In this role, you have overall responsibility for further developing and managing established IT governance practices, as well as prioritizing and driving major transformation and development projects within IT. You are also responsible for ensuring that existing system ownership functions effectively in practice and that our IT infrastructure is secure. As IT Director, you become an advisor to company management on IT and digitalization matters. Burde Publishing has a strong focus on AI, and in this role you are responsible for further developing, integrating, and scaling our AI initiatives across the organization and prioritizing them based on business value. You have personnel responsibility for our IT team, where you work closely with three additional IT colleagues working as an AI engineer and a full-stack developer. You report to the CEO. About You We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience as an IT Director. Alternatively, you have several years of experience as a developer and currently work in a more comprehensive IT role with personnel and budget responsibility. You have experience from expanding companies and have a strong understanding of business processes and how IT can best support them. It's important that you have in-depth technical knowledge and experience with project management, as well as experience from AI development projects. As a person, you are solution-focused, communicative, and enjoy working both strategically and operationally. Structure and responsibility are important qualities for this role, as is your experience leading and coordinating IT teams. You thrive in a dynamic environment where we work together to solve challenges. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
