We're now opening our operations in Västerås with Restructuring and Matching services, plus transition assignments, and we're seeking a skilled, engaged, and self-motivated coach who wants to help build our team. About the Role As a Career Coach, you will support individuals facing changes in their working lives—this may include job coaching for the unemployed, career transitions, new career paths, or retraining needs. Participants may or may not require health-adjusted services. You will work closely with participants through individual meetings, follow-ups, and continuous coaching. Your responsibilities will include, in addition to daily and ongoing administration: • Coach participants independently toward employment or education. • Conduct individual coaching conversations focused on career guidance and change support. • Assess competencies, formulate goals, and create individual development plans. • Support participants in job searching, CV and application work, and educational choices. • Match participants' competencies with employers' needs and build networks. • Collaborate with employers, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. • Work goal- and results-oriented according to established requirements and objectives. You will plan and structure your work independently—in close dialogue with participants and your supervisor. The role also involves travel throughout the region, as coaching can take place in multiple locations. Therefore, a B driving license is advantageous. Personal suitability is given great weight. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you are someone who creates security, engagement, and motivation in your interactions and who achieves results. You are skilled at listening, analyzing, inspiring, and networking—and you are driven by seeing others grow and reach their goals. You are also careful about deadlines and comfortable managing multiple parallel tasks simultaneously, working with participants both individually and in groups. You Must Have: • At least 7 years of work experience (full-time). • At least 3 years of coaching experience in the last 7 years. • Documented coaching competence and ability to support people through change. • Good knowledge of the local job market and established employer contacts. • Understanding of government systems such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, Social Insurance Agency, etc. Relevant education could be in areas such as working life, behavioral science, psychology, study and vocational guidance, social work programs, or training in job coaching (vocational college, university/college). Merits Include: • Experience with work-oriented rehabilitation, at least three years. • Coaching people with physical or mental health challenges. • Experience in arranging work trials and internship placements. • Very good digital skills and knowledge of digital job search tools. • Collaboration with rehabilitation chain actors and labor market legislation. Support includes personal meetings, activities, and interventions tailored to each participant's circumstances and goals according to their respective agreements with the client. We work to strengthen individuals' work capacity and enable pathways to employment, education, or self-employment.
