We are now seeking flexible and responsible substitute teachers for our upper secondary schools (grades 7-9). Working as a substitute teacher means you replace regular staff during absences. Work takes place Monday-Friday. Working hours vary; it can be a few hours per day, a full day, or longer periods according to schedule. Often it requires that you can step in at short notice. If you are hired as a substitute teacher, you decide for yourself which days and times you are available for work. The more available you are, the greater chance you have of working. QUALIFICATIONS First and foremost, we seek someone with the proper education for the role. For work in grades 7-9, we seek someone who is a qualified teacher. If you do not have the proper education as described above but want to "try out" work in school, you will be given the opportunity to do so for a limited period (300 days). This requires that you have approved upper secondary school grades in core subjects (Swedish, math, English, social studies) and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. The work requires that you are responsible, flexible, and have good interaction with both students and colleagues. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
