The Swedish Psychological Defence Agency safeguards the open and democratic society and freedom of opinion by identifying, analyzing, and countering improper information influence and other misleading information directed against Sweden or Swedish interests. The Agency is led by a Director General and has approximately 90 employees. The Agency has offices in Karlstad and Solna. The Director General's office supports strategic coordination, development, administration, and management of the Agency. The office's responsibilities include leading and coordinating the Agency's international operations. We are now seeking an International Coordinator based in Solna. Main Responsibilities In this coordinator role, your primary tasks will be to coordinate the Agency's international contacts and activities, support the Director General in their international commitments, and contribute to further developing the Agency's international work. Additional responsibilities include serving as a contact person with the Government Offices in international matters, preparing materials and providing advice regarding the Director General's and department heads' international travel and visits, project management, responding to consultations and agency-wide inquiries to the Agency, and supporting national coordination efforts. Other tasks within the scope of the Director General's office and the Agency's mission may be included in the position. Qualifications This position requires: An academic degree that the employer deems relevant. Current experience working at the Government Offices or a state authority within areas relevant to the Agency. Strong knowledge of Swedish public administration. Very good proficiency in Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have: Knowledge of total defense and security policy. Experience working with international cooperation. You are service-oriented and skilled at building new relationships both within and outside your organization. You are analytical, well-organized, and have excellent communication skills. You should be able to represent the Agency in national and international contexts where high professionalism and sound judgment are essential. Employment Terms The position is permanent, full-time, and begins with a probationary period. We conduct a security vetting with records check in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
