Would you like to work in an international environment where you contribute to developing the Swedish Public Employment Service's work within the EU and international collaborations? As an International Coordinator, you'll have a central role in driving, coordinating, and developing the agency's international mission and network. Together, we get Sweden working. Would you like to be one of us?
Department Mission
The unit is responsible for the agency's strategic EU and international work by supporting and preparing the Director General's international commitments. The unit serves as the National Coordination Office with the task of coordinating the Eures network in Sweden (NCO). The unit also offers support to managers and employees participating in international meetings and activities, including preparations, follow-up, and dissemination of results. The unit is also responsible for the agency's development cooperation, which is primarily conducted through externally financed projects in various countries.
Job Description
As an International Coordinator, you work both operatively and strategically with the Swedish Public Employment Service's EU and international mission. Both tasks within the NCO and within our EU team are part of the position.
Within the NCO, you will, among other things, coordinate, plan, report on, and follow up on activities for the Swedish part of the Eures network. You will also support Eures network members by offering, for example, information, training, networking opportunities, and collaboration with other Eures members, nationally and within the EU. The role also includes communicating about Eures activities and participating in various national and European contexts.
To succeed, you develop and maintain good contacts with other parts of the Swedish Public Employment Service, Eures network members, national stakeholders, coordination offices in other countries, the European Labour Authority, and the EU Commission.
If you work within the EU team, it means you are proactive and outward-facing with a focus on planning, preparing, and implementing activities, meetings, and collaborations within EU and international work, including related administration. The work involves close dialogue and cooperation internally, externally, nationally, and internationally. An important part is therefore to build and maintain relationships within the agency and in international networks to ensure effective implementation of the mission.
To thrive in this position, we would like to see that you are humble, collaboration-oriented, and flexible. You can manage multiple parallel processes, build networks, and communicate with different stakeholders. You have good organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills as well as respect for other cultures. You are driven by continuous improvement, delivery focus, and a strategic approach.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may begin with a six-month probationary period. The work location is Solna. Travel to countries with which we collaborate may occur.
