The Student Affairs Division is part of the university administration with a mission to provide support and services to students and handle student matters. The Student Affairs Division also provides operational support and advisory services to departments and university leadership. The division has approximately 150 employees, and operations are conducted at the Student House on the university campus. The Support for Internationalization group, the university's International Office, is seeking an International Affairs Officer. The International Office handles international issues and mobility within the education sector at Stockholm University. The group is responsible for, among other things, the university's central exchange agreements and networks, international student recruitment and international visits, and coordinates international education and exchange programs, such as Erasmus+ and MFS. An important part of the group's work is international mobility within the framework of the university's participation in the European university alliance CIVIS. More information about us can be found at: Student Affairs Division Main Duties The primary responsibilities include handling matters related to the university's work with student exchanges, the Erasmus program, and the European University Alliance CIVIS. Within the scope of the position, you will work with ongoing information and support for both Swedish and international students, handle student matters, and contribute to developing the operations. You will have regular contact with partner institutions and will represent Stockholm University in various collaboration arrangements with institutions in other countries, primarily within the framework of the European University Alliance CIVIS. Within the scope of the position, you will frequently be in contact with and collaborate with other parts of the Student Affairs Division, Stockholm University's departments, and other parts of the university administration. To support your work, you will use several digital tools and student administration systems. In your role, you will work within a team but also have close collaboration with other colleagues at the International Office, with other groups and divisions within Stockholm University, and with external collaboration partners, particularly within the university alliance CIVIS. Other tasks occurring within the Student Affairs Division may also become relevant during the employment. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an academic degree and experience working with educational administration processes in the higher education sector. You should have experience working with international student exchanges in higher education, and it is a merit if you have experience working within a European University Alliance or within the Erasmus+ program for higher education. It is also a merit if you yourself have participated in exchange studies or other study abroad within the framework of your education. Excellent administrative skills are required, as well as excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. You may have knowledge of additional languages. You are familiar with the Office suite and preferably have experience with web publishing and social media. Experience with administrative systems such as Move On, Mobility Online, or Ladok is desirable. You are someone who can take initiative, assume significant responsibility, and work independently and systematically in an environment where the pace is often high. You have a talent for communicating information, both verbally and in writing, and feel comfortable presenting to both small and large groups in both Swedish and English. Furthermore, you work well collaboratively, are service-oriented, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. About the Position The position is full-time and is a fixed-term employment of approximately ten months. Stockholm University applies individual salary determination. Start as soon as possible.
