Your Responsibilities
The position is located at the National Unit against International and Organized Crime. As an International Case Handler, you will encounter an eventful day-to-day with varied tasks.
You work independently as well as in teams to ensure administrative work functions smoothly. Service is a major part of your daily work, both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities include:
Providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work with the crime case registry, managing filing and performing general office tasks
Reviewing, assessing and registering incoming cases
Being the external contact in many contexts and thereby providing good service to both the public and other authorities – primarily via telephone and email
Performing work tasks assigned by the administrative manager, such as certain case preparation
Preparing and taking responsibility for certain investigations of cases concerning investigation orders and international legal assistance, as well as preparation of cases concerning arrest warrants and extradition cases
Taking special responsibility for the chamber's administrative operations
Guidance and being a discussion partner for colleagues
Communicating orally and in writing in English.
Case registry management and filing occur electronically in our IT system.
The work is event-driven and urgent cases can arrive quickly, requiring you to make quick decisions and assess what is urgent or not.
Your Qualities and Qualifications
We are looking for you who
have a high school diploma or other education that the employer deems equivalent
have skills corresponding to several years of well-documented administrative work that the Prosecutor's Authority considers relevant
have experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools in administration, telephony, meetings, etc.
have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
have good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

About the Position
The position is a permanent employment with a probationary period of six months.
Tests may occur in the recruitment process.
The position is classified as security-sensitive and therefore security vetting with registry check will be conducted.
