International Centre is a unit within the university's shared administration. The focus of the operation is to actively contribute to internationalization work at University of Gothenburg. International Centre creates conditions for strategic and in-depth international collaborations through cooperation with the university's leadership, staff, and students as well as with partner organizations around the world. The aim is that all studies at University of Gothenburg should include international perspectives. One way to gain international experience is to participate in the Erasmus program, either through exchange studies or internships.
At International Centre, we currently have 28 employees and we are located in bright office spaces at Rosenlundsgatan 8 – a stone's throw from Feskekörka in central Gothenburg. We place great importance on collaborating and supporting each other to achieve a creative and good work environment.
About the Position
We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to the development and quality assurance of University of Gothenburg's management of the Erasmus program. The role combines case handling and financial administration with development work to create efficient, legally sound, and user-friendly working methods. Your duties include, among other things, handling of grants for studies and internships within the Erasmus program. You are responsible for ensuring that documentation, decisions, and payments are handled correctly and in accordance with the program's regulations. The work also involves ongoing contact with students and employees as well as partner organizations, such as partner universities.
University of Gothenburg continuously works to develop and digitalize the administration of the Erasmus program. As part of this work, you contribute to simplifying administrative processes, strengthening quality and efficiency, and making it easier for target groups to benefit from the program's opportunities.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant academic education or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience with case handling and administrative work involving financial management.
Good skills in Excel and experience working systematically with large amounts of information.
Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
Experience working in a process-oriented manner
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience working in the higher education sector or public sector.
Experience with international operations or international programs.
Experience with digitalization and improvement work.

Employment
The employment is a fixed-term position for twelve months at 100% (full-time) with placement at International Centre at Shared Administration, University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg.
