Within Hospital Care, there are approximately 130 managers in various operations. Sometimes situations arise where an operation temporarily lacks a regular manager, for example due to extended absence or management changes. As an interim manager, you play a crucial role in creating security and continuity during these periods. You contribute to maintaining stable operations and a good work environment for both employees and management. The assignments can potentially be expanded to include other operational areas in the region.

JOB DUTIES
As an interim manager, you are available for assignments when temporary managerial vacancies arise within hospital care. You will primarily be assigned roles as a department manager or operations manager with standard managerial duties and responsibility for operations, employees, work environment, and finances. You may also be tasked with leading projects and supporting new managers, for example through mentoring. Assignments are designed by the requesting manager based on the specific needs of the operation. You will be part of a small unit of interim managers and report to the Hospital Care HR Manager.
The role of interim manager requires high demands on flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances. To meet the needs and challenges in various operations, you need to enjoy working with continuous improvements and view challenges as opportunities, while also driving ongoing work forward.
Common to all management assignments is that you lead the operation in accordance with our leadership philosophy and serve as a role model in daily work, promoting a culture that supports Region Kronoberg's core values; respect for people. It is also very important that you continuously engage in dialogue and create clarity regarding decisions, guidelines, and established working methods for the operation you lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with an academic degree and several years of experience as a manager in the healthcare sector. If you have previously worked as a manager in our organization, that is an advantage. You have good experience working both operationally and strategically, and you have solid experience leading employees and handling personnel-related matters.
You are a confident and attentive leader with the ability to quickly understand new situations. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have an eye for when operations need to be adapted. You enjoy collaborating with others, but are also self-motivated and proactive.
You have strong communication skills, are clear and unpretentious in your approach to leadership and collaboration. You build trusting relationships and create engagement in your surroundings. You are courageous enough to stand by your decisions, but also humble enough to reconsider them when needed.
We use personality and problem-solving tests as a basis for selection, which together with your CV determines who advances in the process. We place great importance on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license is required.
