About the Assignment The operations are dynamic and seasonal in nature. They consist of basic administration and maintenance of internal measurement systems, combined with execution of government assignments, research projects, and business assignments. Important partners include the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, the Swedish Armed Forces, SLU Aqua, and SLU Ship Unit. The group participates in the national marine monitoring program for the Baltic Sea and Skagerrak and supports both government and business assignments. Planned start November 1, 2026 or earlier, with the assignment running through December 31, 2027 with possible extension. The consulting assignment is full-time with placement in Gothenburg. Travel within Sweden may occur. Your Responsibilities As a manager, the assignment involves operations, personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility, as well as participation in the unit's management team. Main responsibilities: Lead, develop, and follow up on the group's operations Personnel and work environment responsibility for the group's employees Budget responsibility, financial follow-up, and internal billing Ensure that operations are conducted efficiently and with high quality Prioritize, plan, and allocate resources based on operational needs Actively participate in the unit's management team Contribute to strengthening collaboration within the broader oceanographic operations Contribute to development and improvement of work methods and processes Support operations in change and development initiatives Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant work experience gained over the past ten years.
