We are seeking an Interim Unit Manager for an exciting assignment.
Assignment Description
The assignment involves leading and developing an organization consisting of technical expertise such as land and development engineers and several project managers who drive projects from early stages through implementation and completion. As unit manager, you are responsible for leadership, administration, planning, coordination, budget, and monitoring of operations. You have overall responsibility including responsibility for work distribution, business development, and financial monitoring related to the unit's operations.
The assignment also involves developing and implementing a project and portfolio management model. In this role, you are expected to develop processes and streamline work methods, as well as ensure progress in the municipality's projects, maintenance, and development of municipal land. You lead a team of approximately 20 employees consisting of both permanent staff and consultants.
The assignment starts as soon as possible – December 31, 2026 with an option for a 1-month extension.
Mandatory Requirements
Solid and current experience in building construction, land and development projects.
At least 10 years of experience driving development work.
At least 1 year of experience working in the project tool Antura.
Previous experience as a team leader or manager.
At least 10 years of experience working with and good knowledge of AB 04, ABT 06, and ABK 09.
At least 10 years of budget responsibility and experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing your own and employees' work efficiently.
