About the role and examples of responsibilities We are now seeking an interim Chief Financial Officer to lead and support the finance function within the Infrastructure Administration during a transition period. The role involves overall responsibility for the administration's financial processes and close collaboration with administration management and operations. As Acting Chief Financial Officer, you are responsible for ensuring high quality in financial work while providing support, analysis, and decision-making documentation to management and committees. You will also play an important role in transferring knowledge and ensuring a smooth handover to the permanent Chief Financial Officer. Examples of responsibilities: Lead and support the finance function and its staff. Responsible for budget work, forecasts, financial statements, and financial monitoring. Ensure that financial analyses and decision-making documentation are prepared for management and committees. Navigate and work in financial systems to extract relevant financial information. Conduct analyses and quality assurance in connection with financial statements. Document processes, procedures, and important information. Transfer knowledge and expertise to relevant functions and the incoming Chief Financial Officer. The role involves many contact points and requires that you can build trust, make well-founded decisions, and drive financial work forward in a complex organization. Your background, experience, and competencies We are looking for someone with: At least 8 years of experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement processes. At least 4 years of experience working in the ERP system Agresso and solid expertise in accounting. At least 4 years of experience with qualified financial work in municipal operations. At least 4 years of experience with fixed asset and investment accounting. At least 2 years of experience with land and real estate development accounting. Experience with project finance and financial monitoring of government grant-financed operations. Experience working in the management control system Stratsys. Experience preparing decision-making documentation, financial analyses, and reports for management and committees. Several years of recent experience working in politically governed organizations. You have an analytical approach, are structured in your work, and thrive working in an operations-focused role where you support the organization with qualified financial analyses and decision-making documentation. You also have good communication skills and build trust with both staff, management, and other stakeholders. Good to know You will be employed as a consultant at Jurek and work on assignment for Botkyrka Municipality, Infrastructure Administration. The assignment comprises approximately 30-40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through January 31, 2027. There is a possibility for extension. The assignment requires physical presence on-site on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
