Interim Daily Operations Manager

About the Assignment As Daily Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for operational activities and lead daily operations for several smaller teams. You will be an important link between employees, management, and various internal and external stakeholders. The role combines personnel responsibility with business development and offers great opportunities to influence how the organization works and develops. You will be part of the management team and contribute an operational and business perspective on matters concerning the organization's continued development. Your Main Responsibilities: Have personnel, work environment, and operational responsibility for several smaller teams. Ensure a safe and well-functioning work environment in close collaboration with HR and relevant functions. Responsible for onboarding, capacity planning, and daily operations. Develop and implement processes, routines, and working methods as the business grows. Identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency. Serve as the link between operations and IT and coordinate needs related to systems and digital working methods. Develop and implement procurement procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders. Participate in management team work and contribute to strategic development of the organization. You are comfortable with change, have a business-oriented approach, and are motivated by creating order and improving operations. We see that you have: Documented experience with personnel responsibility, such as line manager, including work environment and employment law Experience from industry/private sector and experience working in a business-oriented manner Experience from grant-funded operations, such as Vinnova or EU projects Very strong ability to work in high-pace change environments, preferably in growth companies Experience building and structuring processes and working methods Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish and English It is advantageous if you have: Experience working close to research environments or technical/lab environments Previous role as operations manager, site manager, or similar Experience handling work permit issues and international recruitment Experience in a role combining operational personnel responsibility with strategic discussions about organizational or business development Experience handling strictly confidential operations To thrive in the role, you are a confident and unpretentious leader with high integrity.
