We are now seeking an experienced interim physician chief for a consulting assignment within healthcare. The role demands strong, present, and clear leadership that builds trust. The operation is in a development phase with a focus on culture change, increased collaboration, and shared working methods. We are looking for an experienced leader with the ability to create trust, engagement, and direction within the operation. About the role and examples of responsibilities As physician chief, you are responsible for leading and allocating the work of physicians and ensuring that the unit has the competence required for the operation's mission. You will be part of the operation's management team and work closely with other managers within the clinic. You will: Lead and allocate work within the physician group Ensure appropriate competence supply based on the operation's needs Actively participate in the operation's management work Contribute to the development of working methods, collaboration, and culture within the operation Work toward increased participation and shared responsibility Your background, experience, and competence We are looking for someone who has: A solid interest in staff development Previous experience in leadership and/or management Strong communication skills Receptive leadership Ability to make decisions with focus on goals and results Ability to analyze the operation's needs and development opportunities An interest in developing and improving working methods Ability to be an engaged and inspiring role model Meritorious if you have: Medical training Personal qualities Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
