We are seeking an experienced consultant with strong expertise in process development, optimization, and automation of finance processes, with a particular focus on the vendor invoice workflow.
This is not primarily an operational role within accounts payable. The main assignment is to analyze existing methods, identify improvement opportunities, and drive development toward more efficient, automated, and scalable processes.
A new system has recently been implemented, and the consultant will play a central role in further developing both system support, processes, and working methods.
About the assignment
You will work closely with the finance function and take clear responsibility for driving improvement efforts within the vendor invoice process.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Identify and drive optimization and automation of the vendor invoice process
Analyze current workflows and identify manual tasks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
Further develop processes and working methods linked to a recently implemented system
Act as Super User in ExFlow
Develop and document efficient and scalable processes and procedures
Drive improvement initiatives from identified need to implemented solution
Contribute to increased digitalization and automation within the finance function
Ensure structure and knowledge transfer for future management
When needed, provide operational support in the vendor invoice workflow to understand and develop the process
Who are we looking for?
Above all, we are looking for someone with documented experience in improving and automating finance processes. You need to understand accounts payable and invoice workflows in depth, but it is your ability to develop processes that is central.
We believe you have:
Experience independently driving process improvement and efficiency initiatives within Finance
Good understanding of Accounts Payable and vendor invoice workflows
Experience with automation and digitalization of finance processes
Strong system knowledge and experience in developing or optimizing system support
Experience with system implementations, change management, or similar development projects
Experience with ExFlow is a merit
Academic background in accounting, finance, or equivalent
Good knowledge of Swedish and English

At the same time, you are sufficiently close to the business to understand operational workflows and translate improvement ideas into solutions that work in practice.
