Jelgavas valstspilsētas pašvaldības interešu izglītības iestāde "Jaunrades nams "Junda"" invites applications for an INTEREST EDUCATION TEACHER in the STEM field specializing in rock climbing and bouldering. Job Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct interest education classes in rock climbing and bouldering for children and youth of various ages; - Teach climbing basics, safety regulations, and movement coordination skills; - Promote students' physical fitness, endurance, balance, concentration abilities, and self-confidence; - Ensure safe class operations and supervise proper use of equipment; - Organize competitions, excursions, sports events, and other activity-related initiatives; - Perform pedagogical work and complete necessary documentation. Requirements: - Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Development of Pedagogues" sections 6 and 7, see https://likumi.lv/ta/id/301572-noteikumi-par-pedagogiem-nepieciesamo-izglitibu-un-profesionalo-kvalifikaciju-un-pedagogu-profesionalas-kompetences-pilnveides (may be a student of pedagogy); - Knowledge and practical experience in rock climbing and/or bouldering; - Understanding of safety requirements for organizing climbing classes; - Ability to organize and lead classes for children and youth; - Good communication and collaboration skills; - Sense of responsibility, precision, and initiative; - Experience in leading sports classes or instructor certifications considered an advantage. Offer: - Part-time work – afternoon classes; - Flexible workload distribution. Number of hours depends on mutual agreement; - Indefinite term; - Gross monthly salary – for example, 10 hours per week: €446/month; - Creative and responsive team; - Start date: 01.09.2026; - Work location: Zemgales prospekts 7, Jelgava; - Social guarantees, health insurance.
