During on-call hours, we receive postoperative patients, and we also perform short ICU visits such as electrical cardioversions, central line insertions, and lumbar punctures. Your Tasks We are now seeking an ICU nurse for a mixed role on a full-time basis. Employment level can be discussed if you have other preferences—would you like to combine two positions or can you only work part-time? Don't hesitate to get in touch, and we'll explore the possibilities. We care for patients with varying diagnoses. As an ICU nurse, you are responsible for advanced care of patients with threatening or manifest failure of vital functions in severe illnesses, accidents, and postoperative care. You monitor the patient's vital parameters and act based on the changes that occur. We work in a team with nursing assistants and anesthesiologists. The work is varied, challenging, and you learn something new every day. Our schedule includes time for development work, teaching, and internal seminars through active unit meetings. Your Knowledge and Competence We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist training in intensive care. For us, it is important that you are confident, stable, and enjoy taking initiative. In our team, we support each other, especially when conditions change during a shift, so it is important that you have a flexible approach to work. Your good judgment is crucial when you need to make your own assessments and prioritizations, sometimes with limited information and time. It is also important that you understand your significant role as a nurse and can act in the best interest of the patient and the business in your actions and decisions.
