About Us Capio S:t Görans Hospital is a modern acute hospital in central Stockholm where patient-centered care and specialist expertise are in focus. On our intensive care unit, an engaged and experienced team works in a warm and safe work environment, where knowledge and experience are generously shared – there is always someone to ask. We have 8 care beds in new, fresh facilities and care for patients with complex and acute needs. We work in a multidisciplinary team. The unit works closely with the hospital's other units and is responsible for emergency responses and supports with mobile intensive care unit interventions and post-ICU follow-ups together with anesthesiologists. Team spirit and camaraderie are strong; all competencies are equally important and every employee is seen and gets the opportunity to make an impact. Your Role As an intensive care nurse, you are responsible for assessment, observation, and treatment of critically ill patients. You care for 2 patients depending on care intensity and varying diagnoses, together with a nursing assistant and anesthesiologist. A physiotherapist is also a natural part of the team. You work closely with other professionals in daily rounds, care planning, and acute interventions. Tasks include advanced monitoring, ventilator management, medication handling, hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation in the journal systems Cosmic and ICCA (ICU PDMS). What Do We Offer You? Qualifications Licensed Nurse with Specialist Education in Intensive Care Experience Working in an ICU Strong Knowledge of Advanced Monitoring, Ventilator Management, and Medication Handling Experience with Relevant Journal Systems and Good Computer Skills Flluent in Swedish, Both Spoken and Written We believe you are a person who easily builds trust and listens in your interactions with both patients and colleagues.
