Your responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the municipality's coordination of reception according to the mass migration directive and of quota refugees. You work closely with individuals, colleagues and external partners with practical reception, settlement, follow-up and initiatives that strengthen the path towards studies or work. You will become an important part of the team within the labor market unit and represent Kalix Municipality in collaboration. The assignment requires flexibility, independence and the ability to build good relationships. Through your work, you contribute to creating good conditions for establishment, participation and independence for people who are new to the municipality. We are looking for Someone who wants to use their expertise in a meaningful assignment where relationships, collaboration and development are central parts. You have academic education in, for example, social work, behavioral science, labor science or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience of refugee reception, social work, labor market issues or social services working methods is advantageous. As a person, you are confident, flexible and solution-focused. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships, while you can work independently and in a structured manner. The role requires that you can plan, coordinate and follow up on initiatives as well as collaborate with both internal and external partners. You express yourself well in both speech and writing.
