About the Role Experienced engineer in Instrument Maintenance – with focus on Turbine, Turbine Control and related systems. The Position We are seeking you with solid expertise in instrumentation, control, regulation and monitoring systems connected to turbine installations and their auxiliary systems. You are offered a developing and responsible role in a technically advanced environment where safety, availability and collaboration are in focus. As an engineer in the Instrument Maintenance unit, you work long-term and strategically with instrument and control equipment in our turbine installations. The focus is on systems that monitor, control and protect the turbine, turbine regulation and its auxiliary systems, and how these interact with other facility systems for safe and stable electricity production. Work tasks include troubleshooting, testing, analysis and optimization of instrumentation, sensors, measurement chains, control functions, control systems and interfaces with other technical areas. You work with systems connected to, for example, steam supply, lubrication oil systems, hydraulics, vibration monitoring, condensate and feedwater systems as well as the turbine's protection and control functions. You actively participate in investigations and improvement work to ensure high reliability, availability and performance in the facility. The role also includes being the unit's technical contact person towards large and small projects in the field. You contribute with high expertise and experience in instrumentation, control engineering and control systems and ensure that maintenance and operational experience is utilized in changes, modernizations and life extension measures in the facility. You will also have an important role in the group's competence development by serving as a mentor for new employees and junior colleagues. Through guidance and knowledge transfer, you contribute to building and ensuring long-term expertise within the business. Requirements You have upper secondary or post-secondary education in instrumentation technology, automation, control engineering, electrical power or equivalent technical direction. You have several years of experience in instrument maintenance in process industry, energy sector or other mission-critical operations. We particularly value experience with control and regulation systems, process instrumentation, turbine control, protection functions and troubleshooting in complex facilities. It is meritorious if you have experience in: Instrumentation, control and regulation systems for turbine installations. Turbine control and the turbine's protection and monitoring systems. PLC, DCS or other advanced control systems. Testing and verification of safety and protection functions. Vibration monitoring and condition monitoring of rotating equipment. Interfaces between different technical areas such as instrumentation, electrical, control equipment, process and mechanical systems. Project work, facility modifications and technical investigations. Nuclear power or other safety-critical operations. As a person, you are analytical, structured and have a great interest in technical systems and their interaction. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, building networks and providing technical support to both colleagues and project organizations. You have the ability to see the bigger picture in complex facilities while being able to delve into details when the situation requires it.
